The National Gallery
The National Gallery has a rich collection of over 2000 western paintings.
All hang in chronological order. The earliest works are in the Sainsbury
Wing and the Renaissance works are in the West Wing. The excellent Dutch
collection, including paintings by Rubens, Rembrandt and Vermeer are in
the North Wing. For the Impressionists you will have to visit the East Wing.
You can enjoy a free audio-guide or guided tour of the Gallery's collection.
