St. Pauls Cathedral
The second biggest dome in the world, after St Peter's in Rome, St Paul's
is spectacular both inside and out. Try climbing the 627 steps for a bird's
eye view of London. Very special is the Whispering Gallery where the acoustics
cause whispers to echo all around the dome. When you are finished admiring
this splendid cathedral, a short walk to the river gives you the chance
to take in something more modern; the Millennium Bridge and the art gallery
- Tate Modern.
