London Underground
Using the London Underground (often referred to as the the London Tube)
to get around London is a must. You can use the famous black cabs ot the
red buses but many people use the underground as it is cheap and fast.
First built in 1863 was the Metropolitan line and others soon followed.
During the second world war over 80 tube stations were used as bomb shelters.
The main underground lines are:
