Kensington Palace
Kensington Palace was the home of the late Princess Diana after her divorce
from Prince Charles in 1996. This beautiful and spacious palace in central
London is open to the public. You can take in the finely decorated state
rooms as well as a splendid exhibition, the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection,
(including dresses so wide that the lady who was wearing them was unable
sit down). Afterwards, you can take a stroll in the charming Kensington
Gardens- the former grounds of the Palace. Here, you will find the statue
of Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up, among many other statues and beautiful
fountains.
